In Germany it is deffinitely not warm enough for beach wear. It is mid of may and wheather is still to cold for outdoor living.
But it makes me dreaming of warm summer days and nights!
We also had a bikini talk last night, we 4 girlfriends, about the best fits and colours of bikinis. Or should we try a swimsuit. Or should we go naked, if we do not find the perfect beach outfit. Yes, I thought about that… But why should I go naked when we have this lovely bikini outfit at sO mINe*… Ok, you can`t swim in it, but you can enjoy sun wearing our INES top and CRUISE shorts!
So, if the weather decides to be summerly, you will see me in this and if not, it is also nice as lounge wear…

I always think that I am a country girl. Minimum by heart.
After living in the city for some years it makes me wanna living more country side the last month.
I am dreaming of a little home into wild fields, listen to the chirping birds while waking up in the morning. Doors always open in summer, living in- and outdoor…

We had this shoot 1 week ago! Our first lookbook shoot! We wanted to focus more on the details of our collection.
In very short time we will have our online shop! Can`t believe this… yeah!
Thats why we did this extra shooting!
But between the last Nomad Girl shoot and this, we have finished some new beautiful pieces…
As the CARRIE Feather leggin in tie dye powder rose. And the matching IMALIE Feather shirt and scarf.

Its about natural beauties and being close to nature!
For me is both essential for life… My hair is my natural hair and my skin my natural skin with all the freckles and strawberry marks… thats me!
Braided crowns of flowers for the princess of nature… I did it so often when I was a little girl. My favourite flower therefor was the clover flower in this beautiful dark viola pink. Or I mixed the both clover colours, pink and creme white.
Being outside, at the countryside, walking through the fields… there I can breath! Nature is so good to us in spring… the air is full of natural perfum!
Weather will not be so good to us this weekend! But I wish you all an inspiring weekend full of natural beauty!

All this beautiful Kelims, I really need to have one very soon, and this lovely and cosy places. It is living with nature!
Love it!
With the beautiful temperatures we have in Germany at the moment, I can imagine to create me an outdoor place at the field behind our backyard! It would be great to sit hidden under the big tree with a book, a magazine, a lemonade and the spring flower smell!

It`s now 4 days, that I left Byron Bay Australia and my 3rd day back in Germany.
When I was with my car the first day, I felt so locked…so far away from outside. In the warmth of Australia we (my bro&me) had his super cool Toyota Landcruiser. We always drive with open windows ( no air condition!) and the wind plays always with my hair and the breeze touches my body. It feels so good!
In Germany I have my car with air co and for sure, you never open the window… thats a shame!
Cause nothing feels so good as the life in touch with nature!
Try it: swith off your radio, open the window and feel the beauty of nature! For sure not in the city traffic…

To celebrate Easter most are going to see family and friends… and be home!
I am with a part of my family too! So happy about that!
Its not my home, here in Australia, but I feel home…
For this long Easter weekend some inspiration to style your home or to create a little space, which you can call home for a while.
I know its cold again in Europe, but some outdoor inspiration for the upcoming season… I need to do this!
I am sure we will have beautiful warm days in Germany very soon!

Wind in your hair, dust on your boots, sun kissed skin, lightly tanned… sometimes I would love to wear a holster…no no, its not that I wanna shoot somebody! Oh no!!! Only for the cowgirl feelin`
But be sure, I plot something for the very next collection, so that we can all get some feeling of the wild, whereever we live.
Inspired by the beautiful wheather and landscape I am busy creative and drawing, scetching and deeply lost in my thoughts and ideas.
For me autumn in Australia feels so summerly.

As you know, we have a very special colour range we prefer for sO mINe*.
It is always a bit dusty or like sun bleached. Bright colours we only use for little accents.
This season we use a lot of sea green & powder rose.
Both colours are beautiful itself, but also mixed is amazing!
Found some moods in this colourmood. The pics make me wanna do more and more and never stop using my favourite colours…

It´s already friday! We had a full week with a hard Paris trip (canceled train in late evening and taxi ride home with 6 lovely person, we met at Gare du nord station)!
I am very happy about the sunshine today and a relaxed friday, which started with a hair cut at my organic hair dresser… Sculp massage and matra songs included…so good!
Be ispired (as me) of the wild side in us!
Dreaming of a Tavik bikini for my next and very soon trip and this amazing Isabel Marant boots!

Inspired by travelling around the world, but a lot of these items have been finished before… and made me wanna travel.
This is the “Nomad girl” !
I always have been a nomad girl. It started, when I got my first suitcase, when I was a baby. As a little girl, I asked my parents to allow me to sleep over at family and friends.
This was the beginning of travelling and discovering. I wanted to know, how other people live, eat and was attracted by the different livestyle and landscape!

The last days, weeks we have been very busy!

We had so much fun.
This weekend I am moving out of my flat.
It is the first time, I move out without moving into a new home.
I put all my stuff into a container and start travelling (for sO mINe*) end of march.
Never had this feeling of freedon before. But I will miss my beautiful home, with all my personal things…
I am very excited of the new time… beginning from tomorrow!

I still miss the Australian summer. German winter awaited me with a strong cold of -10 degree Celsius.
so, 40 degree difference was a bit too much…
Now I am busy with our next shooting. This sunday, during the carnival ( we do not celebrate) and not easy to arrange everthing cause of the parade in front of our HQ, we shoot with our lovely model Amira. What a beauty! Natural born sO mINe* girl! (Pics 4+5)
Let´s hope it will be warmer soon!
But we can already dream of all things we love to do, when warm spring or summer sun will kiss our skin…
Me, I will lie in a hammock, reading a romantic novel, have a picnic, listen to Bob Marley & ran with bare feet through a daisy field…

I have to say goodby to a beautiful time & place! After more than 2 month living in Byron Bay, Australia and a beautiful trip to Bali I come back to my home end of this week. Only 2,5 days left to meet some of my friends here and to enjoy food and tea. Have deep talks and see my brother, who is living here for more than 5 years.
Today its raining like worlds ending… So I have the time to rip all good images out of my magazines I can not bring home. Luggage is already to heavy! Fashion people problem maybe…?!
